I’m Valerie, otherwise known as the left half of the picture on our blog. I’m very new to Tumblr, and this will soon be my 2nd post ever written…fantastic, yes?
This blog is a joint venture that my best friend Raquel and I started as a combination of 2 blog ideas we had before about fashion and music.
I’m currently double majoring in Architecture and History at the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of that, I’m pretty much a music aficionado. I love mostly everything within the rock and alternative genre that has been released prior to 2000. My favorite bands include:

Despite all that, I’ve come to realize that I need to get more in touch with my generation’s music instead of burying myself with my parents’ generation. So my contributions to this blog is to discover new music and post regularly about my findings (perhaps a record review?) as well as posting about the bands that are near and dear to my heart. In addition, I’m going to blog on just about everything else that I can get my little hands on—architecture, pop culture, sports (only in special circumstances), current events (if I can understand it), etc.
And as previously noted by Raquel, suggestions are always appreciated as well as comments and questions. Let’s make use of this social networking business!
